Formation is the lifelong process through which Christians grow into the image and likeness of Christ. We are formed spiritually by every experience we have in life, and at St. Augustine’s we understand that it takes intention and practice to become like Jesus, vessels of God’s reconciling and life-giving love for the world. For this reason, our church offers several opportunities for Christian formation available to all ages. Through prayer and study and through building rich relationships with peers and mentors, Formation Ministries at St. A’s nurtures spiritual growth for every member our congregation, young and old.
At St. Augustine’s, formation encompasses a range of ministries and programs. Join us on Sunday evenings at 5:00pm as we gather as youth, Episcopal Campus Ministries at ASU, and young adults for a home-cooked meal, prayer, and more.
